How it works
A waveguide wire runs inside the stainless steel probe. A magnetic float rides on the outside of the probe. When the float moves, it creates a strain pulse that travels back to the sensor head. The electronics measure the pulse return time - that time equals position.
What that means for your tank:
- ±0.1mm accuracy - not ±5mm, not ±10mm
- No moving parts inside the probe - no mechanical wear
- No calibration - no drift, no re-zeroing
- 25-2500mm range - one sensor covers most tank sizes
