How it works

Measurement Principle |
The HNL120-A tuning fork level switch works by using a pair of piezoelectric crystals mounted on a tuning fork base to cause the tuning fork to vibrate at a specific resonant frequency. When the tuning fork comes into contact with the medium being measured, the amplitude and frequency of the tuning fork will change abruptly. The intelligent circuit detects this change and converts it into a switching signal. |
