HNL80-A measures piston position inside a hydraulic cylinder.
It tells the control system exactly where the piston is - and how fast it's moving - in real time.
Tank level sensors measure liquid height.
Submersible sensors measure water depth.
This measures actuator position. It's the feedback loop for hydraulic motion control.
