Measurement Principle

The HNL50-A RF admittance level switch consists of a sensor unit and an electronic unit. The sensor unit mainly comprises three parts: a measuring probe, a shielding electrode, and a grounding terminal. The material height reflects the change in admittance between the probe and the container wall. When the material reaches the switch's operating point, the electronic unit reacts, driving a relay to activate and output a switch signal. The shielding electrode prevents false triggering signals due to material buildup on the electrodes; a switch control signal is only output when the material has actually reached the set point.
