The HNF70 Vortex Precession Flow Meter is an intelligent, multi-parameter gas flow measurement solution designed for high accuracy and reliability in industrial applications. Measurement Principle |
The vortex flow meter works based on the principle of precession. When gas flows through the vortex generator at the inlet of the flow meter, it is forced to rotate and form a vortex flow. This vortex flow accelerates in the Venturi tube-shaped measurement tube, with the vortex core (precession) precessing along the pipeline axis. The precession frequency is proportional to the volumetric flow rate of the fluid under working conditions. The built-in sensor detects this frequency signal, and integrated pressure and temperature sensors perform real-time compensation. The microprocessor directly calculates and outputs multi-parameter data such as standard volume flow rate and total volume. |
