Measurement Principle Ultrasonic Transit Time Difference Method: During the measurement process, two piezoelectric (PZT) crystals inside the sensor are located at downstream and upstream positions to alternately send and receive ultrasonic signals. The ultrasonic waves penetrate the pipe wall at a certain angle and propagate into the liquid. The flow of the liquid affects the propagation of ultrasonic waves, causing the transmission time of ultrasonic waves in the countercurrent direction to always be greater than that in the downstream direction. Through precise analysis of the time difference in transmission in these two directions, and based on its proportional relationship with the velocity of the liquid flow, the sensor can quickly and accurately calculate the volumetric flow rate of the liquid.
